I served with Coach Davis, then Sergeant Major Davis, from 2019-2021 at Fort Huachuca, AZ. He was the Senior Enlisted Advisor to all of the Installations most senior leaders on all matters regarding Emergency Services. I was the senior military police noncommissioned officer and worked for Coach Davis directly in this capacity as well as an operations manager. In the course of our service his constant positive outlook, realistic and achievable expectations were critical to my success in that professional aspect. Additionally, our service together paralleled so very challenging times for my family and I. I routinely sought out Coach Davis because he would always help guide me towards finding positive in what I saw as negative circumstances. His impact on me transcends professional mentorship to personal mentorship and I still routinely seek his input and opinion on all things I struggle with.

Coach Davis is a professional and forward-thinking coach, mentor, and all-around great person. As a peer coach for a competitive fastpitch team, I witnessed first-hand how Coach Davis brought our girls to the next level by instilling the importance of being mentally prepared to perform at a high level. With his visionary leadership and ability to deliver the academics of mindset to our athletes, that team became ranked #1 in the state and was within the top 10 teams in the country.
